Alyssa Douglas. San Diego Native. Tattoo Lover. Rooftop Enthusiast.
Self-taught errythang! I started my creative journey in LA making " Day-In-The Life" videos for a celebrity stylist. I taught myself how to use a camera, how to edit, how to be a professional videographer and how to say "yes!" to everything, even when I was completely clueless.
After doing a few projects in LA I moved back to where I grew up in San Diego and did a complete "System Reset" as I like to call it, and I jumped right into videography as more than a hobby. I pretty soon quit my job at Starbucks and was able to pursue video production full time. Recently, I've pursued Creative Directing and continue to search for new opportunities within different art mediums and creative processes.
I've worked for many companies big and small, within each creative area I've studied so far. Some career highlights include buying a Sony A7s ii, creating my first company, filming a Wiz Khalifa private concert, creating for Toyota, filming on a private plane and moving into my current downtown loft in the Gaslamp District of San Diego.
Extremely grateful for where I am each and every day.
